We bake by hand on South Ocean Boulevard — sourdoughs with 48-hour ferments, viennoiserie folded at dawn, and provisions curated from the region's most dedicated producers.
Ocean Bar opened its doors on South Ocean Boulevard with a single conviction: that the best food doesn't need to shout. We built our kitchen around time — the kind of time that transforms simple ingredients into something genuinely remarkable.
Our sourdoughs ferment for 48 hours. Our croissants are laminated by hand each morning. Our cheese and charcuterie selections come from producers we visit and know by name. This is not a fast operation, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Whether you stop in for a morning croissant and coffee or plan an evening spread from our provisions counter, we want every bite to feel intentional.
Breads
Fourteen varieties, all leavened with our house starter and aged a minimum of 48 hours. Crusty, open-crumbed, and genuinely alive.
Viennoiserie
Croissants, pain au chocolat, danishes — all folded with French butter and baked before dawn. We make them the way they should be made.
Provisions
Small-batch olive oils, aged cheeses, preserved goods, and charcuterie from producers we trust. Everything we sell, we'd serve at our own table.
In a culture obsessed with efficiency, we choose the opposite path. Our bread is slow. Our ingredients are sourced from people we know. Our kitchen runs on a schedule written by the seasons, not a spreadsheet.
This isn't a marketing position — it's the only way we know how to work. The results speak for themselves, and our regulars tend to notice the difference on the first bite.
